Team Building Weekend
Vancouver Yacht Club - February 3-4, 2001

Jono and Cheryl produced an amazing team-building experience over two days at the Yacht Club where those in attendance learned many things about each other and themselves. It was a time for getting to know Dean, from Toronto and to begin the critical bonding required in such an intense undertaking. The inspired games and challenges that the group underwent proved that we are a match for any level of adversity through our ability to think under pressure, perceive new ways of looking at things, support each other considerately and work as a single unit in resolving unfamiliar challenges.

It was also a time of self-reflection as we pondered the course of our lives to date, and then share them with our team members. The only downside to the weekend was the absence of members of the team who were indeed missed.

Special thanks to Jono and Cheryl as they applied their fantastic skill-sets from their company, Pinnacle Pursuits to the needs of our group. They created a memorable weekend that will set the tone for the entire journey; a tone of partnership, teamwork, creativity, open mindedness, support, perseverance, camaraderie, friendship and FUN! 

Also special thanks to Dean for traveling from Toronto for a quickie two day visit that stirred us up with his invigorating enthusiasm and infectious energy. We are very glad to have him committed to the success of this incredible journey.
